This is a tune from Äppelbo in Dalarna, Sweden. It originates from the playing of Ärtbergs-Kalle (1826–1917) from Ärtberget, which lies south of Äppelbo. This one of the best known of the many Swedish gånglåts or walking tunes, which should be played at the tempo of a stately walk.
